The magnificent landscapes and colorful valleys of Cappadocia are the perfect place to explore on horseback. The horses of Cappadocia were once given as gifts to the Sultans and it’s thought the name of Cappadocia comes from the ancient Persian “katpatuka” or Land of Beautiful Horses. The local ranchers, or Turkish cowboys learn to ride before they can walk – and the ancient caves in this region are often still used as stables, keeping the horses warm in winter and cool in summer.
Riding in the saddle gives a unique vantage point to view the spectacular scenery. Along the way there will be places to stop and visit some unique locations and your experienced rider/guide will be with you for your entire trail ride. The rate includes transportation from/to your area hotel.
